apsolut has reason to look forward to a bright future
On May 6 and 7, 2009, around 2,500 guests and visitors attended e_procure & supply 2009, where they learned about the latest developments in e-procurement from the 115 exhibitors. The two-day gathering of industry experts provided apsolut with many opportunities to engage in in-depth discussions and make new contacts.
The e_procure & supply 2009 event proved a huge success for apsolut GmbH. Despite the current backdrop of economic uncertainty, we saw a significant increase on last year both in the number of visitors to our stand and the number of business contacts we were able to establish as a result. apsolut's representatives at the fair made the most of this opportunity to forge many new business relationships, as well as to reinforce existing ones. We see these very positive trends as an incentive to do even better at next year's event, and as a reason to look ahead with a very positive attitude. The enthusiastic reactions of visitors to our numerous innovations provided further affirmation that our philosophy is proving effective and putting us on course to becoming the no.1 expert provider of SAP SRM purchasing solutions and innovations. apsolut's presentation at e_procure & supply 2009
Our resident SAP SSM expert Jean-Paul Wehrens gave a presentation entitled “apsolut Strategic Supplier Management (SSM), a Solution for Strategic Supplier Management Based on SAP” on May 7 at the exhibitor forum of this year's e_procure & supply trade fair in Nuremberg. Within the allotted 30 minutes, he briefly outlined the SSM module, highlighted the potential benefits of implementing this tool and provided a concise introduction to the apsolut solution modules for supplier selection, supplier evaluation and supplier development.
