One of the distinguishing features of the ESG brand is the transfer of technology between various markets. In keeping with this strategy, ESG embarked on a joint project with apsolut, the SAP SRM experts, to upgrade from SRM 5 to SRM 7 in the SRM@ERP scenario. The project objective was to create a homogeneous, future-proof system landscape that would offer a unified ordering platform for all users and areas.

Ralf Bödecker, Head of Organization and Internal Procedures at ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH, describes the project outcome as follows: "With SAP SRM, we're now running a forward-looking solution, which optimizes our industry-specific workflows and simplifies all of our procurement processes and logistical operations. Expert collaboration
