Gases Division of Linde AG

The Gases Division of Linde AG is the largest manufacturer of industrial gas in Germany and Europe, and is a world leader in the global market. The company chose apsolut to provide project support for the international rollout of existing SAP SRM templates to Eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia). This rollout phase was a complete success, and a further rollout of SAP SRM strategic components to more than 20 countries worldwide is currently in the pipeline.

Key performance indicators will be used to measure the success of the project as part of the purchasing scorecard. The implementation is a template project, based on a global template that is developed and rolled out to all countries involved. Any enhancements of the template and additional functions that are developed will be coordinated by the German project site and synchronized across all local sites.

The project goals were to optimize processes and enhance the system landscape with best-practice functions. apsolut worked closely with the customer to develop and implement many additional functions (apsolut solution modules) and add-ons to enhance the SRM standard system.
