Kraftverkehr Nagel

The Nagel Group, the leading logistics service provider specializing in food distribution, has implemented SAP SRM 7.0 and SRM-MDM Catalog Version 3.0 to optimize its operational purchasing processes. The system was successfully designed and implemented within four months, and the gradual rollout to all of Nagel's European branch offices is currently underway. The project team, comprising members from both Kraftverkehr Nagel and apsolut GmbH, successfully established a system that met all user acceptance criteria within a short space of time. The new system makes operational purchasing more efficient and transparent, and also offers strategic options for purchasing activities within the Nagel Group, which has its headquarters in Versmold, Germany.
