apsolut GmbH helps customers design, implement and enhance their procurement processes in the area of indirect materials and services. To do this, we rely on SAP SRM, the proven solution that can be seamlessly integrated into an ERP system. For our customer NORDMILCH AG, Germany's largest milk processor (and one of the top ten in Europe), we integrated SRM into the purchasing workflow for indirect materials, services and investments in the shortest time possible using a best-practice approach. All purchase requisitions in the procurement area are now released directly from SRM by the various requesters using a shopping cart. Optimized, end-to-end approval channels were implemented with an SAP HR interface. And, thanks to a solution from M-Way Solutions GmbH, approvers can now approve requisitions on mobile end devices (e.g. Blackberrys) without having to log on to the system. Meanwhile, requesters can select most of their requirements directly from an integrated catalog system and check current material availability at the touch of a button in the stock level display. Purchasing information records are updated automatically in the ERP system to facilitate the procurement of the materials required.
