OMV, one of Central Europe's leading oil and gas companies, has successfully upgraded its comprehensive procurement system from EBP 3.5 to SRM 5.0. The special characteristics of this project were the connections to three SAP back-end systems as well as establishing external service procurement. In future, contract processing will take place using SAP SRM. By enhancing the SAP PM catalog connection for services, it will be possible to accelerate procurement processes and therefore effectively reduce process costs.
