apsolut Fluid now also available in the SAP Store®

(Bielefeld, 16.01.2024) The apsolut Group has recently made its proprietary development “apsolut Fluid” available in the SAP Store as well. apsolut Fluid enables procurement organisations to integrate non-SAP cloud tools with the SAP ERP systems SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC. Numerous preconfigured integration scenarios exist already, some of them including tools for automating tenders, for integrating ESG data – Environmental, Social and Governance – or for harmonising master data.

“Over the last few years, we noticed that an ever-increasing number of procurement organisations are gradually moving away from one-size-fits-all solutions,” explains Oliver Zügel, head developer of apsolut Fluid. “The number of innovative and effective tools in the procurement sector is on the rise, and this trend is set to continue over the next few years, particularly through advances in the area of AI. Fluid enables the incorporation of separate tools into integrated system landscapes, where SAP and non-SAP systems function in unison.”

The first apsolut Fluid projects are already underway and are scheduled for completion during the course of the year. One of these involves a German mechanical engineering company, where an AI-controlled material and service master data management system is being set up within a multi-SAP ERP architecture.

Oliver Zügel expects the number of Fluid use cases to keep rising over the next few months: “The number of use cases will rise in line with the number of innovative and young start-ups that address the most important challenges of our time, such as the consideration of a product’s carbon footprint as part of the supplier selection process.”
