apsolut UK achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System
apsolut UK, subsidiary of procurement consultancy apsolut Group, has this month been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management.
ISO 9001:2015 is based on various principles such as a strong customer focus, the commitment of the top management, a process-based approach to achieving customer satisfaction and the continuous improvement of an organisation’s QMS. It requires organisations to comply with a list of stringent requirements to achieve quality products, services and processes. By achieving the certification, apsolut UK demonstrates its commitment to quality assurance of their procurement transformation, implementation and advisory services and projects as a the core of their QMS.
“The ISO Certification is a significant milestone for us, as it helps us to keep focused on excellence in addition to developing our company globally”, says Zayd Mauthoor, Managing Director of apsolut UK. "In fact, the processes and procedures we have implemented enable us to deliver quality procurement advisory services and implementation projects. Our Quality Management System demonstrates our customers our quality expertise, support and customization capabilities within the provided SAP design possibilities. In fact, ISO goes even beyond that, as it enables us to put processes in place to be more efficient in and continuously improve our entire Quality Management System.‘’
The certification was issued by a UKAS & ASI accredited certification body after going through various stages of audits. ,,We managed to achieve the certification roughly over four months which demonstrates the good level of preparation and existing processes already in place”, confirmed apsolut UK Consultant Tabea Bodamer, who managed the ISO certification project together with her colleague Lein Elsonbaty. Ms. Bodamer and Ms. Elsonbaty oversee the company’s ISO certification as Quality Management Representatives.
