apsolut and CDQ work together to create sustainable, clean data
apsolut and CDQ have joined forces with immediate effect. With CDQ, apsolut has gained a new partner who specializes in master data quality. CDQ's customers include leading companies such as Bayer, BASF and Sartorius. At Bayer, for example, CDQ supported the merger with Monsanto by merging customer and supplier master data from both organizations. CDQ's cloud-based solution significantly improved the quality of more than 1.3 million data records and eliminated 80,000 duplicates in a record time of ten weeks.
Through close cooperation with their customers, the experienced apsolut consultants know that redundancies in supplier master data are often a pain point. Information is often duplicated, leading to inefficiencies. With the help of CDQ, duplicates can be removed. In addition, the CDQ solution ensures consistently high data quality. This is achieved by continuous monitoring of the existing information. Errors can be continuously corrected and, if necessary, enriched with data from external sources.
As a result, manual data maintenance is minimized and the quality of supplier master data is significantly improved. This forms a stable basis for automated processes up to the use of artificial intelligence in the area of Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
"Many companies using SAP solutions today are faced with the question of what their future procurement suite should look like. Especially in the course of a transformation project to SAP Ariba or S/4HANA Procurement, it makes sense to start with clean data and to ensure that data quality remains at a high level - even beyond the go-live. With CDQ, we have now gained a partner with whom we can show our customers the way to clean data and guarantee it," explains Thomas Herbst, Managing Director & Founder of the apsolut Group.
"In our data-driven world, information grows and changes extremely quickly. How can data quality be maintained when 90% of all data has been created in the last two years? We believe that data sharing is the best way to get better data. We are therefore very pleased to be able to support apsolut's customers in the short and long term in tackling data quality problems more effectively and with far less manual effort," says Dr. Dimitrios Gizanis, CEO of CDQ AG.
The two companies look forward to a successful partnership.
