apsolut and the Rehau Group are delighted to have won the Austrian Supply Excellence Award in the "Supply Excellence" category

The Federal Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics in Austria, has presented apsolut's customer Rehau in the "Supply Excellence" category with the Austrian Supply Excellence Award 2018. The award recognizes the SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management tool, SAP SLC for short, whose implementation of apsolut supported the leading international manufacturer of polymers.

The new solution enables Rehau to map all steps of the supplier lifecycle consistently and transparently; from supplier registration to qualification, assessment, classification and development. Numerous stand-alone solutions, unconnected databases and paper/word-based checklists also have been replaced.

The implementation of SAP SLC further involves master data cleansing from 65,000 to 30,000 suppliers, as well as a new single point of entry in master data management. This enables accessibility of the approved suppliers across company codes. Overall, the quality of reporting and transparency across the entire company has significantly increased.
